 there's ALWAYS a reason to play! :) not playing makes u old! remember that! wahahaanyways, within a blink of the eye, the celebration of cny is over! though technically, cny lasts for 15 days.. so we should celebrate it for 15 days. and have 15 days of public holidays. wouldn't That be nice! and now all we have is 3 miserly days. really. who decides all this. he/she should be more generous! for MY cny, we had the usual routine of heading over to my uncle's place in the morning on the first day. and have lunch there with all the cny goodies to snack on too. and then head to the temple where our ancestors' altars are placed. then head to more relatives' house together to and we had fun going through the old photographs of us kids. to my horror my mum claimed i was boyish when i was younger and we had the photographs to prove it. me in a cap grinning at the camera while my cousin gazes down at me in awe. wahahaha boy i love it! if only we can all go back in time! i don't even remember being boyish. if only we could relive those moments as we are now instead of all being so busy with our own lives. oh wells. after a dinner of steamboat as usual, we headed to fong sis's mum's hse. for more steamboat. haha. anddddd mahjong! hahaha it was hilarious playing with samuel (age 13)! mahjong! 13! yes u're seeing right! when he won, he whistled throughout the game. when he lost, he turned into an angry donald duck. uneverdothissthatthisthat quackquackquackquack! hahahah we couldnt stop laughing. poor fong sis's mascara smudged down her eyes from all her tears of laughter. and on the 2nd day, pee came to visit! had fun playing with chelsie and eating snacks and watching rush hour 3! and we headed down to fong sis's hse for dinner. thank goodness it wasnt steamboat again but catered food. yum yumms. and as usual, i had lotsa fun with the kids. u know, i should really be a kid. since i have so much more fun with them and all. hahah  though they might be little terrors at time, i still love them to bits! *hugs* hope this bond between us will last longer then it did with their brothers and me! haha when their brothers were their age, they fought to hold my hands and walk beside me. now, they avoid my gaze and go about playing video games. rightt wouldnt be caught alive holding my hands. more like holding their gf's hands eh? haha boys boys. cant live with them, cant live without them. |
