recently two important things happened and thats it. nothing much to scream about. other than the fact that i just gotten a whole month of freedom and the chinese new yr celebrations, nothing much happened.

haha ok thats enough of nonchalantness. that was one of the best day ever!! after finishing 2 papers in a day and having to endure smugness from people ( who only had 1 paper! arrgh. haha ), i was super duper duper duper duper duper exhausted but glad to be rid of exams for the time being. i could even smell the freedom in the air as i walked out of the room at 3:45pm. haha the paper ended at 4:10. but i ended early cuz i couldnt take it sitting there watching the invigilator in front of me yawn like the 100th time anymore. and taadaaa. i had to even control myself from running out of the room.

anyways, i ran went to meet p2 at far east to have our fav jap food at wheelock. that day, friday, was a terrible day to go to orchard. the streets were packed with slow walking people. with murderous intent in mind, i snaked my way through the crowds to and fro whilst waiting for p2 to reach. and to top it off with toppings, we had one of the lousiest waiter serve us. 1) he looks too blur to be trustworthy enough to be a waiter. 2) he writes an order and zoom walks off, leaving me staring at him with my mouth open. 3) he had that "i clearly don't want to be here face" all in all, it was baaaaad. not gonna go back there. funan's still the best. woohoo. and ice cream at swensens later was just as bad either. 1) the waiter was looking at p2 all the way as his hand held my mint chocolate ice cream. 2) even as i politely said "over here", he continued his looking at her. 3) even as i pointed to the table space in front of me (and in my mind screaming HERE), he stared at her. until eventually he placed MY ice cream in front of her and walked off. *hyperventilates* am i invisible or what. just as i was contemplating my visibleness to the people around me, he stopped by to ask if he could collect my cup. so now can see me already lah? i'm what? certain 10 minutes invisible is it.

anywho, lets not let lousy waiters dampen my mood. the cny celebrations this yr was a blast! the reunion dinner was strangely perfect this yr, without any hoohas like sandy abalone or scratchy scallops. not that the scallops scratch. just the taste u know. hahaha. and there were so many jet li shows to keep me contended. haha i didnt even bother watching the countdown. and the first day was equally as good, having gone visiting my aunt, dad's godma, and my grandma, and finally, my godma's house. it was quite a lot of hongbaos to collect, so no complains here. teehee. aunt's house was pretty quiet since darren wasnt around this cny, being away in canada with his russian gf. (tsk) and grandma's house was the direct opposite. there were so many people, the house was fully packed. cousins, aunties, uncles, u name them, u'll find them. there were so many generations of people all packed in one house. to properly sit down and count, there were like people in the 70s, 60s, 50s, 30s, 20s, 10s, 5-10s, and less than 1. haha all under one roof. amazing huh. and boy am i glad that not all my cousins brought their bf/gfs along. if they did, only 1 couz and me would be the only ones without a bf. i would have brought chelsie along if they did. ahem. haha

and that brings me to this one couz. this same couz that suffered a heartbreak not long ago and found out that the gf was after this money. not that he's extremely rich or anything either. anyways, he turned up with a girl at his arm. huh? "so fast ar" was the first thing that came to my mind. and to several aunt's minds too it seems. if he could get over it so quickly, does it mean that girl didnt mean much to him? or is he smart to move on since that girl's not worth it. and we all know he's not the casanova type, so perhaps this is true love oh and happy new yr! while i beamed at the new gf. mhmmm

and so, not long after that thought provoking drama, we left to godma's house nearby. and spent the time there watching shrek 3 and laughing hysterically. and then laughing hysterically again as we played 007 with the kids and my godsis and my parents. wahaha. imagine three 50+ adults, three 30+ adults, one 22 17 adult, two 14 yr olds, and 3 pri sch kids sitting in a circle and laughing our heads off. it makes u think we're crazy right.

ya i agree.
it was 11pm when we started playing. i hope the neighbours werent trying to sleep.
muahaha.
oops.

haha well, the 2nd day wasnt so bad either. the usual routine was to visit one of my dad's best friend at his bungalow. but well, usually i end up sitting there eating peanuts, while the adults chit chat and my dad's friend's family sit around making themselves comfortable. so.. ya u can see why i'm not too excited about going. and poof my wish came true. we ended up having guests over for lunch, another of dad's best friend and family. and we spent the whole afternoon drinking tea and talking while chelsie charmed everyone with his energy and hyperactiveness.

and that was that. cny is over so quickly. its like it never happened. haha and nxt yr the same thing goes on and on and on and on. am now looking forward to spending my long needed holiday well. to play mahjong, to have fun, to watch movies, to go shopping, blaaah, the list goes on. its partaaay time! =p
