i realize i have not been updating much about what has been going on.. so, here's a summary. basically, from the start of august till now, there has been a few major events, namely, sheena's 21st party, watching the mummy with trio.. meeting up with p2 at tcc, wince coming back to s'pore for a while, xuan's birthday celebration, and the class sleepover at lilin's place.. 1. sheena's 21st party. well, the day started with me going down early to meet her and proceeding to changi clubhouse with her to prepare the decorations.. ended up pumpin loads of balloons till my hands were sore.. haha and there was the arranging of the tables, food, flowers.. blah, the lots. and of cuz, lastly, there's the preparation for the birthday girl herself.. with a navy blue dress, lavender flowery accessories, makeup, contact lenses and heels, she didnt look like the sheena i knew.. haha her mum was even commenting that it looked more like her wedding. hahha and she'll retort "aiya.. we only get to be 21 once ma.." haha duhh. as evening approached, more and more of her family guests arrived and i was left sitting there staring into space, trying to look busy. hahha. luckily rachel arrived and we were able to go wander around waiting for the guys.. haha   top: pee and me in the hotel toilet while she gets her makeup on.. haha bottom: rachel, me and our champagne glasses.. =)   top: the boys wanted to show off their love for each other haha bottom: a group picture of the 4 of us and rachel, and the birthday cake! weeee it was a good party. though there were just the few of us, it was really cozy and nice.. happy birthday once again sheena! lots of love!! 2. trio watching the mummy together. yeapp. we finally went to watch it. and it was quite a disappointment i must say.. as compared to the first 2 movies, this one was rather predictable and cheezy, with the monster changing umm monster. haha anyways, it still was fun hanging out with them after a long day in school. of cuz we took lots of pictures, knowing us, but due to the blogging constraint and the health of my fingers, i shall just post up a couple of them.. more on facebook of cuz. teehee.   top: shaz and me bored in the bus... corlizz was behind, with wanting.. bottom: trio at lido.. don't u just love the background? haha 3. meeting up with p2. yup we met. like finally after so long. hahaa and guess what, we met at 530, only to find out that the time's too short! we need to meet earlier man. seriously. haha.. anyway, after meeting at dhoby gauht, we proceeded to tcc at nafa, with p2 leading the way, not so convincingly.. heh.. but luckily we managed to find our way there! woohoo. and after ordering our food, spaghetti for me, and soup with   top: we squeezed for a panda shot. bottom: when i said we were comfortable, i meant it. hahha look at those bean bags.. oohlala. aaand after chatting, we left the place and ended up walking along orchard road, tryin to make the best of the time just talking and talking and more talking.. are u scared of us now? haha and the trip back was hilarious. seeing as how we had a brief encounter with a guy who must have thought we were checkin him out.. ahaha. *pukes* 4. wince back in s'pore. yayy! the hummingbird pal is back. though for a while only, but still.... it has been a year since i last saw her. saying that i miss her is such an understatement. haha :P managed to meet her on friday since i wasnt having classes. and we watched dark knight! woohoo. finally! i have been waiting so long to watch it... and though she has watched it before too, she didnt mind re watching it again, so... yay!! haha but we got front rows due to the last minute decision.. and so, spent the next 3 hours straining our necks to watch the screen. haha.. and after that, we walked along orchard, and i brought her to black canyon to try out the thai food and superb coffee.   top: wince and her thai seafood noodles bottom: me and my pineapple fried rice   top: my iced mocha and her iced coffee glacier and her verdict on the food? fantastic. best tom yum she has ever tasted. woohoo. haha i should get a commision for introducing all my friends to this.. weeee and we stayed till it was approaching midnight and then we went to her place which was just walking distance from katong.. and it was soooo nice! the swimming pool is the largest i have ever seeen in a condominium.. like omg. even the lobby was air-conditioned with security codes.. too bad she isnt staying there for good or i would have visited her everyday.. hahha damn. all right, i guess thats all for now.. shall update on the class stayover another time.. my fingers need some sleep. tatta~ |
