admist exams.
admist exams and busy times, it was pretty hard to find time to relax and destress. a botanic bath with aroma therapy to soothe my frayed nerves and ease away some tension would be good. or a jacuzzi would do just fine too. ahh, the bliss. but alas, i just am not rich enough to afford such amenities. sigh. reality stinks.
anyway, a cheaper version of venting my stress out was sought. i met up with xuan, danny and sheena on sat. it worked. through the laughter and the tears (caused by laughing too much), some of the tension eased away. its hard to remember that you're actually going to sit for exams in a wk when you're having fun huh. like you're in paradise. and when the fun time ends and you go home, you're faced with gloomy reality yet again. its the same for movies. you start off fresh and plunge straight into the plot and get lost in fantasyland. and when the movie ends, you're jolted back to reality. like, oh where am i again? oh yah. time to queue to leave the cinema.
anyhow, there i go blabbering nonsense again. i think i need a slapper. then everytime i talk type crap, a hand shaped thing will come out from the lappie and slap me. hahahha. ok i'm weird. nvm.
as i was saying, i met up with them. first was with pee to watch made of honour. amazing huh. like the last time i ever watched a movie with her was when shrek 3 came up. ha. and that was like what? eons ago? truth is, its her hols now. and she just ended her prac paper on fri. so she's free on sat. YAYYY. patrick dempsey! YAYY. haha i don't care how old he is. i think he's hot. and cute. hahah even though he looked rather skimpy in those supposedly sexy scottie shorts. rofl. loved the show. loved the ending. was so afraid that it would turn out like 'my best friend's wedding' where julia roberts lost the guy.
all righty chop chop. after shopping ard at parkway for awhile, we were joined by the guys. and we headed over to black canyon. MOI recommendation. haha. wanted them to try the authentic thai food and coffee there. and it was satisfying! as danny would say. haha. and i shall let the pics show how good the food is. anyone interested just let me know ya. we could go there tog! i dont mind more tom yum! =)

it sure was fun catching up with them after so long. esp with xuan. so much have happened since we last met. and he's even coming out of army soon! this week's his last wk. haha. yayy! more outings in future! wheee. more trips to ntu in fact i think. now that both guys are gonna be studying there. hmmz.
danny finally revealed his true colours after he got high on coffee. just look at the size 0f his cup. the rest of us had the same cup as sheena's one on the right. haha.

and after that we had a walk and went to visit some dogs and puppies at the nearby pet shop where they had dogs walking around freely. their dogs actually. and those dogs are really tame ones too. standing still to let us pat. or maybe they're just lazy. haha. well, thats about all i have to say. its time to head back for my books. sigh. best of luck to me and all who are currently burdened by this 5 letter word that starts with e and ends with s. haha. tralala elaine out.
