went for work on friday and guess what. SHE was there. and to cut the complaints short, i was told to quickly go and faster clean up the stuff and also to do a thorough job. i nearly asked 'how to you do both? make up your mind. quick or thorough?' yeah right and get sacked huh. lol. so there i was scrubbing those stupid sewing kits. luckily SHE left early. guess what she said when her husband came to fetch her from the shop. 'DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I'VE WAITED FOR YOU.' oh for goodness sake. give the poor man a break. i wonder what he sees in you seriously. i pity him. moving on, on sat was supposed to meet sheena to go round looking for travel agencies.. however, after talking to dad about it, i realised it might not be too safe for 2 girls to go travelling alone after all.. furthermore, pee is not exactly very good in er.. directions.. and neither am i that good either for that matter.. so yeah on a safer note, i suggested renting a chalet and we could have fun tog there.. even with the boys. and if i was thinking that i had solved matters, i was so damn wrong man.. more problems surfaced. each sounding more ridiculous than the previous. 1. can we have a 2 day chalet instead of 3? on wed and thurs since u (me) dont have class on those days.. ok. but the boys cant get away from army during the weekdays so cannot. 2. but i cant have it on sun! i need to go to church! right. but since weekdays cannot, weekends are left. so how? at first i asked if she could skip one session of church. i mean, its not as if we have much of a choice and we DO have to make sacrifices at some point. apparently, NO. this bestie of mine loves God so much that she isnt even considering Him as an option for sacrifice. and so point blank refuses to skip even just ONE session. okay point taken. so compromising me asked if her dad could fetch her from the chalet sun morning before church so that she can stay overnight there. yes was the answer. YAY. but before i could even smile, the next problem came. 3. but i dont think my mum will allow me to stay overnight with the boys without supervision. WADDDD how long have we known them? almost 7 yrs if you count the yrs that we first met them. this is simply too ridiculous to speak or type for that matter. i cant believe she actually said that. i was speechless for some time and discussed it with my parents who were looking through the internet to book the rooms. even they got fed up and said forget it . right. oh well.. seeing as there are so many complicated issues to face, lets just forget it. maybe when and today, met danny early at 9.30am to watch harry potter and the order of pheonix at the cathay. and after all that anticipation, what a DISAPPOINTMENT. the story was too fast-forwarded that the scenes look disjointed. suddenly you're here and the next you're there.. and whats more annoying is that the content was different! so what the.... haiz maybe i was expecting too much huh as we all do having already created our own expected mental images of things while reading the book. so naturally, when what we see on screen seems totally different, we feel that it is somehow not as good. after the movie, danny and i walked around orchard till 5.. haha by the time we went round searching for someone's present, our legs were half broken. rofl. okay maybe not half broken but they were REALLY painful. haha. so that someone , u better appreciate it! we spent nearly 4 hrs walking ard without resting! we shall meet again soon! |
