anyway went to collect the book late on saturday and missed the free waffle ice cream at popular.. lol. well i bet its really small haha sour grapes huh. its all thanks to the visit to shawna's hse on fri that ended with us reaching home ard midnight.. saw kenneth, samuel, deryl, ling, her sis, pheobe and her sis and many several others.. minor characters.. lol i think i've been reading too much. yup anyway it has been a really long time since i've last saw kenneth. he's my childhood friend.. and this guy that i saw the other day seemed like a totally different person. more withdrawn, quiet, with a stick- thin figure that had everyone worrying and a sunken look at his cheeks, together with heavy dark eye rings..

i feel as if i'm describing a prisoner who just got out of azkaban, the wizarding prison, for those who dont know.. haha but yeah.. dunno if thats the latest fashion trend.. to look cool is to look like that or anything but i sure want that old fatter, healthier, more lively kenneth back. sigh. i feel like i'm losing a friend. he seems sooo distant. double sigh.

all right, enough of that, on sat, went to collect harry with mum at parkway and shopped ard till it was nearly 4. haha i was supposed to meet xuan, sheena and danny at clarke quay at 5.30.. in the end i reached there at 6 whereas danny arrived at 6.30. haha only xuan reached there at 5.30 actually.. lol. and so, the tour guide, him, brought us to liang court where we had our authentic jap food. yummy. well, only the 3 of us ate while danny watched us. becoz he didnt have enough cash due to overspending the wk before..

hmm well i had a a hard time persuading him to go for the outing seeing as it was to mark xuan's pop celebration.. well i did put it to him nicely that $$ didnt matter, it was the meeting up that mattered, thus offering to lend him some cash with no offence meant. i even suggested going somewhere cheaper so that to accomodate everyone's needs.. in the end he went, but apparently from what i've understood, he's not too happy about me saying its wierd that he just watch while we eat. haiz. i'm sure none of you out there have come across a friend who doesnt join you for dinner but just watch. it IS wierd wad..

and all i was trying to do was to organise an outing. right. so much for it huh. you wont see me organising much stuff again soon. maybe we should have just stuck with the 'brithday meetings' instead of going out for celebrations for other stuff. this way, everyone WILL have enough $$ and there will be no bad feelings from anybody about anything. just plain joy on seeing everyone again. right

when we were out, he didnt exude any hint of being pissed.. and i happily thought all was well.. apparently not huh. sigh. this is aching my head.

well, we did have fun walking along the river and exploring clarke quay tog for the first time though. now that its july, the 2 august babies have their brithdays coming up.. and we have to meet up again. much as i would like to organise anything, guess i better just stay quiet huh. don wanna accidentally ruffle anyone's feathers the wrong way again.. and we're supposed to be besties. i don know whether i'm supposed to laugh or to cry now.

on a lighter note, was supposed to have class at 2 today and guess what, after reaching there early and waiting for like half an hr till 2.15 for the lecturer, we were told that she was on mc and there would not be a lecture at all.. great. the trip down was wasted. could have stayed home and continued reading Harry.. nevertheless, i saw calvin in the train just now.. he still looks the same as before even though i've not seen him since sec sch.. lol.. and i saw lirong, vina and alicia just now as i met mum at city hall for lunch.. though it was only a brief meeting, we arranged to meet for lunch tmr! yay! haven chatted with them for so long.. i miss mahjong!!! LOL
