TPJC concert

last saturday, TPJC had their band concert in school.. met up with xuan and danny at tampines mrt in the evening to go for some dinner first.. apparently danny was held up purchasing some presents for his army officer who had recently promoted so that left xuan and me wandering around tampines mall.. have not seen them since.. january? haha... sure glad there was this event to bring us all together again.. it was such a pity sheena couldnt come.. or the 4 of us could have had so much fun.. well, xuan's life is somewhat still the same.. being in army and all.. he's at the police academy now.. though feeling that its boring as hell there, he sure knows that he should be glad being there.. not everyone is as lucky to get in there! well, i'm looking forward to july when he'll 'graduate' from there! i wanna go see him there! haha.. and danny is gloating that in another 10months or so, he'll ORD.. wow.. fast huh. lol ended up meeting danny at 6ish and guess what their reaction was when i asked them as to where they wanted to eat.. "lets go to the biggest ltalian chain restaurant!" i didnt know what restaurant they were talking abt initially.. then, the ball dropped. PASTAMANIA. wow. thanks man guys... haha i had hated PASTAMANIA all this while as the pasta was either tasteless, too ketchupy or tooooo creamy. it was only last week that i finally tried something nice from there that was neither too ketchupy or too creamy etc.. so i smirked at the 2 of them and said i didnt mind eating there.. haha you should have seen the shocked looks on their faces man... wahahaha yup so there we were eating and chatting and catching up.. seems like danny is in some sort of midlife crisis.. having so many problems of his own and being so pissed at almost everything.. wish i could help in some way! soon after, we headed to the interchange and waited to board the bus to TPJC.. having waited like 15mins for the bus, we were naturally late for the concert.. when we reached the auditorium, the band had already started playing.. lol.. anyway there were several changes in the school.. the audi did indeed seem much grander now.. with red walls instead of blank ones and new projectors and stuff, its so unfair that we have already graduated! lol.. well, overall the band played really well.. there were several disney songs like the incredibles.. pocahantas.. lion king.. prince of egypt was my favourite though.. haha anyways, we took a few pictures there to commemorate that evening..  thats xuan, danny and me!  the guys wanted to show off how 'heritage' they were.. haha!  thats us in the audi..
this was taken at the GM bench.. man i miss the good old times.. well and that was that.. we saw alan.. kenneth.. raudhah... and a few other familiar faces there.. other than that the rest was like a sea of unfamiliar faces.. ha.. are we THAT old? oh well.. i refuse to admit that anyway.. i'm still young! i'mstillyoungi'mstillyoung.. haha |
