in class today there was something about public relations that had me thinking.. it was the part about it being like religious faith.. "sometimes people embrace it throughout their lives. too often, however, it is something that is rarely thought of in times of health and vitality, but clutched at in moments of grave distress or imminent crisis with a feverish favour.

isn't it awfully true? just like how people treat God.. well, not everyone will, of coz.. but some.. if not many, treat God for granted and bask in happiness and luck whenever nothing bad happens.. and when disaster strikes, who do they turn to? God immediately! some even go to the extent of blaming God for not looking out for them and ask the favourite question.. "why must this happen to me?" sounds familiar huh? well, honestly i'm one of that % of people.. more often than not, i forget to count my blessings due to all the usual excuses of not having enough time and stuff.. but when bad things happen, as they usually do in my case, i feel thats its unfair that everything seems to be happening to me.. sigh*

so, to erase me from being in that percentage of ungrateful brats, i shall make a list and count my blessings! i shall thank God, may it be the Christianity God, or the Buddhist Gods or every God in heaven and let my appreciation be known.. so, thank thee for..

1. keeping my family healthy all these while..

2. having all my needs satisfied.. like food.. housing.. etc

3. letting both my parents having stable jobs..

4. letting me get a job that i can enjoy admist my hectic school schedule..

5. giving me good friends like sheena, xuan, danny, wince, lilin and sam.. life would be sooo awful without them.. thanks!

6. letting me settle nicely in my current course without too much hiccups!

7. oh yeah.. and for keeping my pet birds healthy and fat too!

8. getting to celebrate my b'dae with my family.. its coming! imagine how sad it would be to not get to celebrate it at all.. aw man..

9. letting me get to know mcfly.. they simply rock my world!! especially danny jones!!!

10. LIBRARIES! without them, i'd have been drained of cash purchasing every single book that is released! and without them, i wont be able to get my research done too!
11. swimming pools! a good way to burn all my fats away..
12. popcorn & dark chocolate! they make me happy!
13. ok.. the list will continue on and on at this rate.. so, to cut it short, i thank God for all my favourite food, favourite people, favourite places.. and things of coz..

there.. done! hope my appreciation is felt! well, the big day is finally coming! have been waiting ever since christmas! haha.. but well, its never good to feel too excited about something huh? was so excited about christmas that i decorated my room with santa clauses.. snowmen.. trees.. you name it.. but guess what? by the time christmas finally arrived, all the excitement died.. and i start thinking to myself "actually there's nothing much to be so excited about during christmas isn't it?" haiz.. well, in the past, have been pestering my parents to get me a puppy for my b'dae and it didnt work.. so maybe i should ask them for money as a present instead huh? then i can add on to my savings and get one on my own! or a car.. haha that'd be totally out of my budget though... SIGH!*
