HAPPY BIRTHDAE MUMMIE!!
yup on this special day, this special person was born.. and thus we must CELEBRATE!! well, not that we did celebrate a lot.. thanks to the rainy weather in singapore drowning the streets and dissolving our high spirits with it, the only celebration we had was the cake cutting and eating part.. ha.. furthermore, with my grandma unwell in hospital, mum has to prepare lunch and visit her.. so any chance of partying is squashed.. well, at least my grandma is well enough to go back home now.. so there's a good thing out of it.. *shrugs* so in the end, i had to go shopping on my own.. kinda miss having wince around.. i could have just called her to come down and meet me at parkway if she was in singapore.. sigh* miss her to bits.. so anyway, this morning was terrible.. was woken up by some horrible droning sound that came from downstairs.. wish my room was sound proof.. wish i had ear muffs.. wish this wish that.. wish the sound would go away.. there was road works just directly downstairs.. man.. how many times must they work on the road? does everyone need to be reminded that singapore is an island? anymore reclaimations and we might just sink i'm telling you.. arrgh.. well, in the end i went to parkway to run some errands for mum and bought the cake.. it was chocolate truffle from swissbake.. with rum, dark chocolate and chocolate sponge.. with chocolate coating too.. ha choco-addict huh..

these flowers were given by fong sis.. beeaauttifuul eh? am sure glad she was nice enough to remember! speaking of cakes, looks like we'll be eating more of that soon.. what with my mum's birthday in december and both my dad's and mine in january, we'll be feasting on cakes and more cakes! ooh yum! more chocolate i hope? hee! thats all i've got to ramble on for now.. nothing else much to update on.. that will have to wait for this coming sunday! new yr's day! apparently there's a class outing.. oops i mean ex-class outing.. waha.. can't wait to see wince again man.. lets party!!! *jumps around the room* erm ok.. guess i've watched too much of 'Mr Bean's" shows already.. haha that man sure is hilarious... can never get bored of him and his weird antics.. lol.. tata all!~ |
