today was my official off day from sch and i grabbed the opportunity to go...... SHOPPING!! duh-uh! and coincidentally daddie took his leave today too! so we had a family outing... ha.. that just sounds old-fashioned.. anyways, we had a headache trying to decide where to go for lunch... it had been some time since we last had a sumptous feast so we were deciding between hotel pheonix's buffet.. pizza hut... spageddies.... din tai fung... u know... the lots... in the end, we made our final decision in the cab... yes... can u believe it? haha we told the driver of the mercerdes cab (yes, i had to mention that..) ha that we wanted to go to hotel pheonix... then my mum went like "why dont we try something else instead? lets go to spaggedies at paragon" so the driver nodded his head.. and continued driving.. not long after, she asked me if there were other outlets of spaggedies and i told her there was one at marina square.. so, she said"oh... why not go to marina square then? its nearer!" haha i practically rolled my eyeballs out.. the surprisingly cheerful driver however, laughed and said"sure.." maybe he's just used to such undecisive passengers huh.. lol... so.. we reached marina square and me, being the tour guide, led my parents to Spaggedies.... and we sat down for abt 10-15 mins trying to decide what to eat... wahaha i tried not to look at the waiter's eyes as they passed by our table asking if we were ready to order... ha the undecisive family huh... well, luckily we settled for the set lunches at the end and mum ordered piccatta fish which was actually dory fish thats pan-fried with some tasty wierd sauce at the side and seasonal vegetables tog with mashed potato.. oh yum... hers came first and i attacked her mashed potato straight away.. it was heavenly... if my crayfish had not chose that moment to turn up, i would have cleaned up the entire potato part.. ha.. yup so dad and i ordered the crayfish with spagghetti course.. man.... it looked mouth-watering... and it was delicious!!! ha.. YUM! btw why is a crayfish called a slipper lobster? does it look like a slipper? huh? Neil Humphrey once mentioned in his third book that the merlion was formed from a relationship between a mermaid and a lion... so, likewise, a slipper lobster is from.... a slipper and a lobster? erm... i rather not think abt it thank you.... oh then while we were happily digesting parts of the slipper er and lobster, there was a message from heaven... ha.. really! my mum's friend, Fann sis called and asked if i wanted to go to the Westlife concert this fri... she had discount for the seats and her nephew and son are pestering to go... omg.. i never actually thought of attending the concert.. but to think that i can have the chance to go? thats like... wow! thank you!!!!!of coz i agreed... though i'm not that a big fan of westlife as compared to that of mcfly, but i still listened to their songs now and then... used to listen to them while i was still schooling in sec sch? ha.. anyway, speaking of mcfly, i've uploaded lots of their latest videos at myspace! heh feel free to watch them at http://www.myspace.com/purplefrost k? haha.. mcfly rox!!! i feel like i'm advertising for them.. ha.. call the hotline 1900-I-LOVE-MCFLY now to get free prizes! haha jus kidding... i'm probably too influenced by scriptwriting class already huh... having to advertise for apples and mattresses in one go.. hmmz... thats interesting isnt it? lol...
