HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WEIFEN HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! that was what danny, xuan and sheena sang at Hans after dinner for me!! oh man... i'm so touched! but it was kinda embarrassing and i slipped further down the chair as they sang.. haha.. ok.. more about that later.. we were supposed to meet at city hall at 5.30.. so.. mum and me went to centrepoint to buy my birthdae cake! its called chocolate truffle.. bittersweet chocolate sponge with a tinge of rum in it.. yum!! then we went to bugis to shop for her new yr skirt and i went to precious thots to look for a card for our dear friend.. but the card costs $9.10! so.. wasnt sure whether they would agree to pay for such an ex card.. so didnt buy it in the end.. regretted it now.. hai.. should have bought it if i knew they didnt mind! oh well.. nvm... by the time i reached city hall, it was nearing 6.. *sorry!*met danny and caleb and we went walking around raffles city and city link.. sheena apparently juz ended work so the 3 of us went to look for a place to sit and wait for her as she didnt know her way to marina square.. haha seriously!! anyway, we went to the esplanande and found a seat and we chatted and chatted and chatted.. dan showed me his manicured fingers! omg!!!!! with little shiny stars! and his mum bought him purple shoe laces!! PURPLE!!!! my fav colour! haha.. but on him? erm............. better be careful when u enter into army is all i can say... haha u don wanna end up in the guardhouse on your first day!! arhaha! after a while, sheena called and we met up and headed for marina square for dinner.. sheena's working as a receptionist without a table! handing toilet keys to people.. haha! and whatsmore, on her first day to work, there was a blackout! omg! what a warm welcome! haha! and on the same day, the photocopying machine broke down! wow.. haha.. first day only and so many things happened! lol! the guys were making fun of her saying that all the workers have to thank her.. 1st day only and there was a blackout.. so don need to work wad.. come everyday better! ARHAHA!!! so.. we ordered our food and let the guys be the 'waiters for the day'! hey its an honour ok! haha.. we laughed.. gossiped.. chatted.. it was like old times all over again.. can still remember the four of us seated right behind in class and talking and moving on with life.. how time flies.. now we're sending each other off with another chapter of our lifes.. dan's going to army next fri.. :( we wont be able to watch memoirs of a geisha together! oh well.. nvm.. after dinner, the guys made some lame excuse of having to go to the toilet and left.. actually they were choosing the cake at the counter! haha! and so begins the touching moment.. and they sang and i made a wish and i cut the cake inproportionately and we ate it.. but being too full after dinner we only managed to finish half the cake and they made me 'da bao' the rest home! omg.. i already have one cake waiting for me at home! hmm... and xuan dumped the remaining swiss rolls into the box!! aargh!! haha we were so hilarious! with me trying to use his fork to put the swiss rolls onto his plate and with him trying to stop me.. *guffaws!!!* in the end, the sensible sheena took the nearly damaged box from us and took the rolls out.. arha! yay!
well, we walked around marina square and saw keyun at her workplace. the little match girl.. she seemed so formal and proper in her uniform! lol.. but she was surprised to see us.. maybe coz it was rather late already.. haha.. the 3 of them felt rather wierd as i stood there chatting with her.. so.. after a while she went back to work and xuan brought us to milennia walk! where his workplace is! the whole place is rather cool.. especially the candy empire! OMG! there were so many candies!!! chocolates!! sweets! all that we've never come across in the common supermarkets! wow.. and many childhood candies were displayed there too.. so cool!! haha.. the aquariums at suntec were also really awesome! we saw many 'nemos' there! haha.. and danny was busy explaning to us the different kinds of sea anemones.. the sci genius huh.. lol! there were tvs in the aquariums! even the fish could keep up with the latest news! wow! haha.. ok i know thats pretty lame.. soon we headed for the mrt station and waited for the next train and said our sad goodbyes.. *sob sob* and parted with advice to dear danny.. *Stay on the right path!! don stray!* haha! and thats the end of my 19th birthdae gathering! i'm 19 now! wee! more mature? doubt so.. but definitely older!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
