a thought that occupied my mind lately.. this quotation from a book.. its title is ' ITS CALLED A BREAKUP BECAUSE IT IS BROKEN' hmm.. obviously its about a broken relationship.. a connection between 2 people that just snapped.. why do people breakup? becoz of irreconcilable differences? to me.. thats juz some lame excuse that couples use to try to sound sophisticated.. if u were so different and cant live with each other's differences, why do u even get together in the first place? thats a basic requirement of love isnt it? to accept each other's differences and compromise a bit on each side.. what is love exactly?who can teach us what love is? certainly not the celebrities that many of us look up to.. juz count the number of famous couples whose marriages are on the rocks.. Brad Pitt & Jennifer Anniston.. Britney Spears and Kevin Fed.. Nick Lachey & Jessica Simpson.. oh well... what can i say??another quote.. this time from a cd.. its called 'LOVELY... BECAUSE LOVE IS...' really? is love lovely? it depends actually.. from a broken hearted person, love may seem bitter.. sour.. depressing.. heart-wrenching.. totally acute.. from a person happily in love, love may seem sensational and floatingly delightful.. hmmz.. so how? 2 different sides of the coin.. love love love... do u believe in love at first sight? actually love at first sight is based practically on what u see right? u are pleased with what u see and u like it.. so that means that love at first sight is actually love based on one's looks.. i see that u're cute and perfect.. juz like my dream guy and so i start liking u the moment i see u.. is that love at first sight?? hmm.. hmm... hmm....in most books i've read or romantic videos i've watched, love is when u feel an electrifying moment with this person when u look into their eyes.. but u cant go staring at everyone's eyes right? thats insane! love is supposedly to be the time when u feel as if the whole world evolves around u and your soul mate and everyone else's existence is nil.. maybe i've been reading too much romance novels and watching too many videos.. juz watched Hilary Duff's 'A Cinderella Story' aw man..... its so touching.. and Chad Michael Murray is cute! ok whatever.. lets get back to the painful reality shall we? its not as if i'm as lucky as her to be chatting secretly with my 'soulmate'.. people don reply my mails anyway.. haiz.... its a sad sad world we live in...
