the trip to Shen Zhen and Hong Kong

on 24th nov straight after bio exam, my family and others headed to shen zhen for a 6 day stay.. imagine me getting all jittery juz thinking abt the huge 'adventure' i was embarking.. haha.. anyway, shen zhen was all shop shop and shop.. when we touched down there, we immediately went to Luo Hu to tailor-make my prom dress.. its really sweet and nice.. not to forget cheap too.. hee.. look isnt it perfect? haha.. well, after that we shopped ard for a while more and had to return to the hotel for the night..
 on the 2nd day, we went to the window of the world. let me tell u this, it was brilliant!! there were so many things to see! u could see all the wonders of the world all in one day! u name it, they have it! the theme was 'u give me a day and i'll give u an enitre world' wow... look.. i've been to paris!! and egypt too with my parents! arhaha *guffaws*
  the trip was organized by my mum's friend and she has been there before several times.. so she's experienced and good! we truly enjoyed the trip! thanks! look at me enjoying the nigeria falls with my 'sisters'
 Clockwise there's me, Christine sis, Cheryl and Shawna.. we're flying!! we kinda spent the whole day walking thru the world.. by the time we reached the hotel, it was really late and our legs and backs were aching.. *groans*
on the next day, Saturday, we went to the chinese cultural village. there were many 'fashion shows' that portrayed the perfomers dressing up in their cultural costumes.. wow.. they even let some of us try out their costumes.. and we did.. look!
 but alas, there was also the ugly side of the china people despite the beautiful scenes that they showed.. while watching the show, there were several men behind us talking Loudly and Smoking! oh my gawd right? how are we supposed to enjoy the show when they are ruining it? this is terrible.. oh well, on the bright side, we got to eat heavenly dinner at a restaurant after that.. ha.. simply delicious..
after shopping and more shopping we finally got to Hong Kong. after checking-in to our hotel, we went to DISNEYLAND!! Woohoo! it was soo exhilarating taking the tain to disneyland! there were mickey mouse shaped windows and handles.. pluto and chipmunk and tinkerbells sculptures! so cute!!!! well, when we arrived at disneyland, there were juz so many things to see but too little time!!  i took a photo with cinderElla! isnt she pretty!!  pooh and tigger were so adorable too don u think? but guess what? we queued for practically an hour before getting to take a photo with them!! goodness gracious.. needless to say u'll need more than that to queue for the rides there.. the queue was terriblly long and scary.. after shopping and much hesitiation over purchasing of the expensive products, it was finally 8'o clock! it was time for the fireworks! it was breathtaking!! there was music blasting out from all the stereos! disney songs! s'pore's fireworks pale in comparison next to this spectacular display! simply stupendous! haha.. ok... enough of these praises..  this is a pic that my family took on a boat as we went sightseeing in hong kong.. the scenery was needless to say awesome..
before we knew it, the time has come for us to go home! home sweet home!! yipee! after spending nearly a week overseas, i've learned to appreciate the smoke-free and clean society of s'pore.. i'm definitely glad to be back!
