Our big day has finally arrived! the day that had sent many people discussing way before the day even arrived.. haha.. on friday, 2/12/05, tpjc had thier school's prom at Regeant hotel. not knowing how to make-up for myself, i booked an appointment at pearl's centre, a salon recommended by Cindy sis.. and so i settled down and got myself ready to make up.. what i didnt expect was the strenous craning of my neck as the hair stylist, Allan, tilted my head here and there to make up for me.. *ouch* it shouldnt be called make-up experience.. neck straining experience more likely.. lol.. anyway, he was quite good.. applying lavender organic oil.. and many kinds of equipment that i've never seen before started appearing on the table.. *gosh* haha.. and u know what? he even curled my hair!! *gawd* in my whole life, i've never curled a single strand of hair before.. well, he's supposed to know best so i left it to him and my overall look was like that. ..
thats me and my dear cousin Des whos staring at somehting ahead.. arhaha.. curly curly hair.. i look weird.. lol.. but i don't feel so short standing next to him anymore.. thanks to the heels! haha.. well only for the night i guess.. hai..

well, the emcee for the night was Daniel Ong!! hooray! Sam nearly went nuts when she realised he was there.. haha =p met her outside at the entrance at 7.. was supposed to meet her at 6.45 but couldnt get a cab.. *sorry sam!* but i really muz applaud her for her patience.. haha i was about to burst from anxiety as i stood there waiting for a cab as everyone was like staring at me like i was some freak.. well, cant blame them tho.. its not everyday that u get to see someone all dressed up looking wierd there..
and i reached there only to find out that i was not late at all.. *goodness* *phew* rushed like mad.. okay.. after a while when almost our whole class has arrived, we went to register and got our goodie bag.. its this cumbersome plastic bag containing a soap bar, a feather, a mask and a 17 magazine that has pages falling out.. oh wow... we look like we've juz been shopping.. ha ha ha
the programme was all right though, with the prom king and queen nominees playing games and dancing impromptu steps that, according to Daniel ong, was like swatting a few flies.. haha.. thats bad.. poor souls.. they muz have felt so embarrassed and awkward.. anyway, Michelle won! woohoo! 3 cheers! she deserves it! her dress was so nice! from u.s.. she's so pretty too! however, the food is not really recommendable.. we barely touched it.. ha.. luckily we were seated right behind and could sneak out.. at one point, our whole table went out to take photos! haha.. call us obsessed or what.. lol..
as the programme was about to end, there was this couple dance for this paricular couple and the prom king and queen.. the song was so romantic!! aww... we wanted Hongyi to dance with Jiayin but they were juz too shy.. haha.. when they plucked up their courage, the dance ended.. *what a waste huh?* haha.. the whole thing ended at ard 10 plus and our class stayed behind till 12 plus to take photos and lilin's mum was kind enough to drive a few of us home.. *Thanks auntie!*
