this is gonna get boring.. coz.. i'm gonna ramble on abt my job again!! tee hee.. although its really tiring when i reached home at 10 plus to 11 yesterday night, i absolutely lurve it!! haha.. well, i lurve the first 3 days of work that is.. it's better not to say too much too fast, don wanna regret it later.. ha.. started work at 9.30 and worked all the way till 10.. u could almost hear my legs cracking with every step i take.. ok.. thats exaggerated.. anyway, here's what happened..as there is only my team working for the entire day, we're given shifts to go for lunch.. i saw my name with puru under the 12.30 and 6 o'clock slot.. since i had to help latha in the children's section in the morning with the housekeeping, i was left alone while she went for lunch at 11.30.. let me tell u this, its boring working alone especially when there's not much people around.. packing and restacking the books to make them look neat, i must have touched every single book by the time it was my turn for lunch.. thus, i went to look for puru only to find him missing.. think he had da bao food back or something.. nvm.. elaine shall not be dauntered by such minor things.. so she smiled bravely and went for lunch alone at the hawker stall.. it wasnt so bad after all actually.. there were people eating alone there too so i joined them! ('',) cheers to me! lol ok.. after lunch, i helped john and henry out at the cashier counter.. its fun seeing the things that the customers buy.. and its nice seeing their appreciative smiles when they get their purchase after paying.. hee.. and there was this foreigner who bought a magazine.. he had such beautiful green eyes!!! ohmigosh! haha.. spent the time trying hard to stare at his eyes.. lol juz kidding.. of coz i composed myself and carried on with my job! i'm a responsible person ok! haha.. juz lov green eyes so much...... *stones dazily a while* haha.. thats abt all at the counter.. pack purchases into plastic bags.. call for helpers to wrap purchases.. help scan books.. yeah.. hmm.. at night i juz did housekeeping.. going around guiding lost customers.. haha i sound like a tour guide.. pack pack pack.. soon it was nearing 10 and we had to 'chase' customers out.. don wanna lock them up in the shop do we? haha.. so.. i went around Reminding the remaining customers that we're closing.. although we had constantly reminded them for the past 15 mins.. *rolls eyeballs* oh well, some are juz desperate to find last minute gifts according to them.. so i juz smiled politely and walked away.. luckily they left after a while.. *phew* DONG! it was 10 o'clock! time to pack up! as i wasnt taught how to manage the accounts and stuff, all i can do is stand aside and chat to latha.. haha.. anyway, *thanks for the sweet, alex!* although he offered it to me rather unsmilingly.. lol as usual.. we kinda played the not looking at each other game again.. it was like i glance at him, he glances at me and we both glance away.. weird right? i know.. funny.. lucky the others are not like him.. haha.. we'll be a whole bunch of 'not-looking at each other workers' haa.. ok ok.. anyway.. thanks for signing out for me again too!! well, we went to change out after that and left at 10 plus.. once outside everyone went their separate ways almost immediately and of coz.. i had to go my own way too.. so i went to wash my dusty hands and headed home!before i forget, shawna is coming over to stay at our house! although its exciting that i've gotten a 'sister' to take care and play with, out of the blue, i wont forget the last time she was here.. *oh gosh* she was not used to the unfamiliar surroundings and needed the night lamp switched on in order to sleep.. the night lamp was right beside me, so, i can feel the heat throughout the night.. and.. poor me became a panda again.. man.. hope this time there's no need for any night lamp! *cross fingers* right, thats all folks!!
